Cher says she's "proud" of her boyfriend, Alexander “AE” Edwards after a recent fight.
Cher broke her silence on an alleged altercation involving Edwards in a tweet June 1.
"I’m Proud of Alexander. He Didn’t Start The fight. Against 2 Men,… He finished it, Gotta Love Him," Cher's post read.
A fight reportedly occurred between Edwards and Travis Scott at an afterparty at the Cannes Film Festival May 24, per Variety.
Edwards told TMZ May 29 that things between him and Scott were "all good" and that he had "no hard feelings." TODAY.com has reached out to representatives for Scott for comment.
Cher and Edwards attended the amfAR gala, an annual event that raises money for AIDS research, on May 23 in Cannes. On the red carpet, the pair packed on the PDA, sharing a kiss.
Cher and Edwards have been linked since 2022, when they sparked dating rumors after walking hand-in-hand in Los Angeles.

In an October 2023 interview with People, Cher revealed she met Edwards “for about 15 minutes”during Paris Fashion Week in 2022.
After their brief conversation, Cher said a mutual friend gave him her number.

Edwards is around 38 years old and nearly 40 years younger than Cher, who is 78. In 2022, Cher revealed her beau’s age when she responded to a fan on X, saying the producer was 36 years old.
During a December 2022 appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” Cher opened up about what it’s like to date a younger man when Clarkson asked her if older men are “intimidated” by her.
“Yeah, if I hadn’t met younger men in my life, I would have never had a date because older men just didn’t like me all that much,” Cher explained.
