The starter Pokemon of the Tahook region, Nimbleaf, Peyero, and Liquiput! As you can see, I chose the fire starter, though the water one was tempting. I've always had a fondness for blob monsters, and Liquiput's line does not disappoint in that regard, especially the final evolution. Nimbleaf is definitely the weakest of the three, he just doesn't scream "Pokemon" to me, and from what I can tell it's the least useful of the starters anyway, which is a shame as it's the most "reptilian" of them, which is usually my go to choice. He's got the best attack and speed, but the lowest defenses, which is never a good thing. Peyero is a neat little fella, and although his evolution is rather...strange, he seems to be the best of the three, being the most defensive, and therefore a good fit for a sometimes very hard hack. Liquiput is really neat, being so blobby is great, and his pure Water type makes him seem like a living blob of water, which I assume he's supposed to be. Stat wise he's the most balanced of all three, so while he lacks Peyero's defenses, he isn't as frail as Nimbleaf. Really, the only reason I didn't choose him was because of a siggestion from a friend that I go with Peyero. Over, not a bad starter trio, although there is one big problem with them. They don't really feel like starter Pokemon, especially Peyero, despite it's nice design. They're pretty good Fakemon, but they just seem like relatively rare Mon's. Overall, I'll give them three ridiculously buff Pikachu's out of five.
