Is a goose a geese? ›

A goose ( pl. : geese) is a bird of any of several waterfowl species in the family Anatidae. This group comprises the genera Anser (grey geese and white geese) and Branta (black geese).

For Goose, they'll be parting ways with longtime drummer and co-founder Ben Atkind, and Geese have confirmed the exit of guitarist Foster Hudson.

Goose will continue as a four-piece of Jeff Arevalo, Peter Anspach, Rick Mitarotonda, and Trevor Weekz, the latter two of whom co-founded the band with Atkind in 2014. See both statements below. Earlier this year, Goose shared the surprise EP Autumn Crossing. Their last LP was 2022's Dripfield.
