Is Forza Horizon 5 as good as 4? ›

Get 5 then, if you really are only going to get one. While there are still bugs in the game (depending on your luck, not many), FH5 has a lot of little improvements over 4. Also 4 is effectively nearing EOL, and I don't think it's getting much more in the form of updates.

I've tried both for a little bit. FH4 seems to be have a slightly better driving feel, but GTA5 has a fuller map with more on-the-ground things to do. I think I mostly want a good driving experience; i.e., driving around in a chill way to relax, but could get bored if it's too boring.

I would say no, the game itself is not that different and the map is worse. So unless you do like doing the story missions (some are pretty cool) and like to coplete all teh littles dots on teh map, I would not recommend it. Map is smaller, and in grand scheme of things maybe boring but it's still great. YES!

Yes, very alive and well. In short, YES. The reason you don't "see" as many players on FH5 is that they changed how online sessions work in freer roam in an attempt to improve connectivity. Also because the map is extremely dull and boring in FH5.

Forza Horizon 3 doesn't reinvent the wheel in any way – but it does perfect it. Everything that worked about past games is better here. There's more terrain to traverse, more variety, and the inclusion of off-road racing alone expands the game's already-expansive replay value.

Horizon 4 I feel is really good in the graphics, atmosphere and car list. However, I had MUCH more fun with Heat than I did with Forza. I played heaps of racing games back in the day and Forza just doesn't pull me in like NFS did.

The FH4 map feels so much more alive in horizon open. Also the FH4 map feels more detailed to me. And last the scenes are better in my opinion for example the scene form the hill between ambelside and the horizon festival is beautiful with the lake in the background.

Forza Horizon 5 offers the more realistic driving behaviour and more precise handling, but The Crew Motorfest is also wonderfully authentic, playing significantly better than its predecessor.
